'Distinctive Furniture' by Stanley
This dresser is an iconic mid-century modern piece with gorgeous walnut wood and brass hardware, resulting in a clean and classy look, that is both timeless and stunning. This particular line of Stanley furniture was in production from the 1950s to 1960s, making this piece 60 to 70 years old!
It had lost much of its charm when I found it, but with some time and patience, it has been given a second life.
The surface of the dresser has been properly refinished, drawers have been refinished with natural wood oil and conditioner, and drawer liner has been installed. The door handles are original and made from brass. Each handle has had tarnish removed and then polished.
This dresser is substantially heavy and is made of both wood and veneer. There were several areas that were damaged, but they have been properly repaired and restored.
