This striking Art Deco pitcher by Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Co. (RRP Co.) features the "Zephyrus" pattern, depicting the Greek wind god blowing a Viking ship across the waves. Finished in a warm, glossy custard-yellow glaze, this piece (Model #300) is a quintessential example of mid-century Ohio stoneware.
Measuring approximately 7.75" H x 7.5" W, it is large enough to serve as a functional pitcher or a sculptural floral vase.
“The Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company was a staple of the famous Ohio pottery district for over a century, closing its doors in 2005. This 'Zephyrus' pattern is a beloved piece of Americana, blending nautical folklore with the geometric clean lines of the Art Deco movement."
