Beautiful pair of early 20th-century Chinese carvings features two lions meticulously crafted from mottled brown and tan marble. Each figure is depicted in a dynamic, alert stance with expressive facial features characteristic of traditional Chinese stone artistry.
The lions are mounted atop striking faux malachite bases, which provide a vibrant, textured contrast to the smooth finish of the marble. Each piece is finished with a clean-lined, square black wood plinth, giving the set a sophisticated and balanced presentation.
