It’s constructed 100% of hard rock maple and is very sturdy- A true generational family heirloom.
The entire table has been stripped and stained back to its original beauty - and it shows!!! Some of the top boards and legs contain a degree of “chatoyancy” In the wood grain, which is naturally occurring and provides a beautiful display of the wood grain, as well as a 3D effect in the wood grain depending on the lighting and where you are around the sides - “cat eye effect”.
Note: The two extensions appear darker in some photos, and you will see other slight variations depending on where you stand in relation to the lighting. The side and end positions create different tones, as the wood provides a slight 3D effect - inherent to rock maple - one of the characteristics that make it exceptionally beautiful. Table is 48”x36”x30” tall - extensions retracted. 72x36x30” with extensions out.Two tone tables are highly desirable in modern homes and breakup the monotony of a single color and let the wood grain show off its beauty!
