Antique early 20th century pair of Spanish Revival wrought iron wall sconces.
The hand forged sconces feature a back shield with leaf and arrow motif, two large hammered bobeshes with pull chains hold a regular E26 size light bulbs base.
The Spanish Revival period from the 1920's to the 1940's, define an unexpected mix of styles, Tudor, Gothic, Mediaval, Mourish and Hollywood glamour. Still very present in today's designers decor concepts.

The sconces are newly rewired but the finish was never touched. There is old paint residues left on them from the years of repainting the wall around them. Most of it is in the back, but some in the front as well. It is very old paint so it is difficult to remove unless you use a professional. They can be left as is for authenticity or they can be repainted in black.
