FREE SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN THE CONTINENTAL US! This is a SUPERB vintage Murano glass sculpture of 'The Winged Lion of St. Marco'. This lion is a symbol of the patron saint of Venice, San Marco (St. Marco). If you google The Winged Lion of St. Marco, you will learn all about the history of this noble creature. Signed Murano 1987 as well as by the artist Mario Badioli. This sculpture is clear glass with gold accents and gold flecks. Measures a very rare large size of 12 1/2" tall x 16 1/2" long x 6 1/2" wide. Heavy. Exquisite detail. Displays beautifully. This sculpture is in excellent condition.
