It’s beautifully designed with two pieces of walnut - the pedestal and the bowl. The round bowl is a gorgeous piece of grained walnut and has a small area on the rim where the wood is pale tan. The rest is a deep rich burnt auburn color. The compote is perfect for fruit or vegetables on an island in your kitchen.
