Each planter features a deep, glossy surface transitioning from dark brown and russet tones at the upper body into saturated blue and aqua hues toward the base. The glaze breaks and pools organically, creating irregular, flame-like transitions that are typical of reduction-fired stoneware and give each vessel a distinct surface character. The planters are closely matched in size, shape, and glaze palette, though minor variations in color density, drip patterns, and firing effects confirm their handmade origin and distinguish them as a near pair rather than an exact set. The wide mouth opening measures approximately 12 inches in diameter, making them well suited for substantial plants or sculptural arrangements. The interiors are left unglazed, revealing the natural stoneware body and evidence of prior use as planters. The bases are likewise unglazed, showing the clay body and kiln firing marks typical of utilitarian ceramic production. Surface wear, glaze thinning at high points, and small kiln-related imperfections are consistent with age and use and do not detract from their overall presence. These planters have a strong visual weight and work equally well indoors or in a covered outdoor setting. Their restrained palette and rounded profiles allow them to integrate easily into modern, Asian-inspired, or eclectic interiors, either displayed together for balance or used separately as individual accent pieces.
