Fan design in classic silver and matte black nielloware work. The two figures are Mekkala the Goddess of Lightning and her lover Ramasoon the God of Thunder, characters from the epic saga Ramathien. This hand-crafted beauty is meticulously and intricately rendered, with incised vertical silver elements creating the ribs of a fan, with the figures of the gods bursting through. This is an extremely rare design, subtle and enthralling. Impeccable condition. Signed with a maker's mark "A" and "Thailand". 2.25"W x 1.25"L. See less
