The Councill Furniture Company, originally founded in 1973 in Denton, North Carolina, is now a high-end luxury brand operating under Kindel Grand Rapids. Known for its traditional and transitional American-made designs, the brand focuses on bench-made methods and superior craftsmanship. Currently, all Councill furniture is handcrafted to order at the Kindel factory in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
