The title reproduce the name of Alessandria. The bridge over the Tanaro River has a long history, having been destroyed by the floods and rebuilt several times over the centuries. The first constructions date back to around the year 1000, when the bridge, made of boats placed side by side, was erected permanently in wood. The first stone version was built during the Renaissance and the mid-15th century, when the bridge was erected thanks to funding from the Duke of Milan, Francesco Sforza. The refined print on paper is dated about Mid-18th Century. The frame in walnut is a contemporary production, it is hand made and it is price included.
