It was used as a pharmacy vessel, probably to store some kind of plant leaves or other powdered medicinal ingredients. It is spectacular, with beautiful graphics, with a slight Asian influence, as was typical at the time. The pattern is good, it has very slight damage, which I photographed. The glaze is tin-glaze, and the graphics are cobalt blue. See less
