Born in 1948 in Guildford Michael Storey's early years involved considerable travel, and with his parents in the armed forces, … Read more Born in 1948 in Guildford Michael Storey's early years involved considerable travel, and with his parents in the armed forces, it became a habit hard to shake off. Eventually the family immigrated to New Zealand. On finishing school Michael became self employed. In 1981 he turned full time to sculpture with his own bronze casting facility.
His subject matter was Australian wildlife.
1990 saw him expand to the USA opening a second foundry in Arizona, eventually settling in Eugene Oregon.
In 1999 Michael Storey moved on again, this time to the UK, setting up a third foundry in Shepton Mallet, Somerset.
This lizard on skull signed by Michael Storey is Southwestern inspired (3.5"t × 6.5"I) sculpture. Presents very well in excellent overall condition with eye catching color accents. Perfect addition to your household.
