They were traditionally created for the Yoruba tribe kings and queens and are embellished with thousands of seed glass beads applied to fabric covers, which are then stitched or glued onto the chair frame - resulting in an exotic chair covered in elaborate beading. It takes approximately 12 to 14 weeks to add these tiny beads to a single chair.
