The frame is constructed in bent … Read more A four-arm pendant chandelier designed by Jan Wickelgren and produced by Aneta, Sweden, 1970s. The frame is constructed in bent beech veneer — Wickelgren's signature material — with four radiating arms each carrying a fabric shade. The four-arm configuration is undocumented in any major design marketplace; only three-arm versions have surfaced on 1stDibs, Chairish, and Pamono. This piece represents the rarest documented format within Wickelgren's Aneta output.
Aneta Lighting AB was established in 1947 and collaborated with Jan Wickelgren — educated at HDK Gothenburg as architect and industrial designer — to produce some of the most enduring Swedish lighting designs of the 1970s.
