This is a truly rare find — a complete, signed, 11-piece dining suite by Kindel Furniture Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan, one of America's most revered luxury furniture makers. Everything you need for a grand formal dining room in one purchase: a magnificent double-pedestal extension table plus eight side chairs and two armchairs, all matching, all signed.
Kindel has been handcrafting heirloom-quality furniture since 1901 — entirely in the United States, entirely by master artisans. This suite shows exactly why collectors seek them out. The table pedestals are hand-carved with acanthus leaf columns and sweep down to brass lion paw casters that still roll beautifully. The chairs feature the classic Georgian vase-form splat back, carved shell and scroll crest rail, cabriole legs with acanthus knee detail, and hand-carved ball-and-claw feet. Every detail is crisp and confident — the work of true craftsmen.
Both the table and all ten chairs carry the original Kindel Grand Rapids brass maker's plaque. Original upholstery is intact and ready for a new owner to reupholster in the fabric of their choice.
