A pretty early mid century carved chaulkware lamp in an Asian form.
Lamps such as this were made to resemble ivory or cinnabar lacquer.
Made of Chalkware lwhich is a molded gypsum or plaster-of-Paris.
On its original brass base.
Some minor surface wear with a few tiny chips. Brass has some patina as shown.
Original wiring in working condition.
Shade is not included in the sale.
Base is 18.5" H to the brass cap x an est 8.5" W
Cap and neck add another 2.5" to the socket.
