It dates back to the late 1700s and is in excellent condition, having been completely restored and re-electrified.

This chandelier features a central carved wooden shaft, sculpted with plant motifs and gilded with fine gold. This central support, composed of several elements, is decorated with hand-wrought iron elements, joined by a multitude of clear crystal festoons, including a few blue crystals, surmounted by crystal flowers with embossed and gilded brass corollas. This original detail, combined with the splendid gilding, highlights the taste and timeless elegance of this late 18th-century living room chandelier.

The twelve arms extending from the lower wooden element are made of curved, gilded iron, terminating in gilded iron bougainvillea, as the chandelier was originally lit by candles.

Originally from a private Milanese family, it is in good condition, with signs of wear on the wooden elements and minor losses consistent with its 18th-century origin. It was re-electrified by our antique chandelier restoration workshop.
