A rare pair of early Minton porcelain figural candlesticks representing a young flower seller and her companion, dating to circa 1835–1836 and corresponding to pattern number 192.
The figures are decorated in bright enamels with gilding and stand on rococo bases with applied flowers. Behind the figures rise candlesticks modelled as bundles of reeds and bulrushes. The modelling reflects the refined decorative style of early Minton porcelain.

Condition
Boy small chips to flower petals and a very fine hairline crack on the column supporting the candle socket.
Girl professionally restored neck small loss to ribbon minor chips to flowers and a small firing crack underneath. Both figures retain very well-preserved enamels and colour. This piece has an attribution mark,
