Italian Rococo style console table with shaped inset marble top over a carved wood base.
The frame features a serpentine apron with carved foliate and shell motifs, cabriole legs, and a stretcher base centered with carved fruit and leaf decoration.
The surface retains a later painted finish, with underlying gold leaf beneath- not visible. Reverse shows a yellow Italian bole color.
Carving is deep and continuous throughout, with applied and integrated decorative elements.
The marble top is a shaped, removable piece slab in grey with black natural veining.
