This pair of Japanese patinated bronze candle holders from the Meiji period (circa 1868 - 1912) feature intricate reticulated floral patterns and embossed archaic motifs, commonly used in altars and shrines.
Material: Bronze with a dark patinated finish and aEbonized wood base.
Design: Intricate openwork (reticulated) cylindrical bodies with traditional embossing.
