This is an original 1930s-1940s chalkware (heavy molded plaster) display of the legendary Western Exterminator Company mascot, "Mr. Little."

Far rarer than the later fiberglass truck-mounted versions, this substantial hand-painted figure was designed for indoor professional displays. The character’s dapper top hat and tails gained worldwide pop-culture fame when it was adopted by the band Van Halen as their 1984 world tour mascot.

This piece features exceptional presence and a heavy, stone-like weight typical of early 20th-century composition displays.

Condition Notes:
This figure is in Good Vintage Condition, exhibiting a storied patina that confirms its 80-year history. There are some stains and small chips to the plaster as shown, consistent with this being a "working" piece of advertisement.

Material: Confirmed heavy chalkware/plaster with original hand-painted finish.

Extremities: The original wooden mallet is missing from the right hand; however, the hand remains intact in its iconic "warning" gesture.

Surface: Visible "flea bite" chips and minor paint loss are present, particularly on the hand, top hat edge, and base, revealing the white plaster beneath.

Reverse: The back features a flat, unpainted "whited-out" section. This is a common characteristic of early two-piece mold casting and serves as a mounting interface for wall or counter displays.
