This set consists of a stunning gilt “winged” frame settee and 2 matching Bergere chairs. The richly carved frames are adorned with authentic gold leaf and sit on fluted legs. The real surprise here is the stunning upholstery. This is classic French Louis XVI at its best. The pink silk features a rich floral pattern in shades of raspberry’s pink with green accents and is in overall excellent condition. There are 2 very subtle watermarks on the inside back of the settee ( see photos) and 2 very small dark spots on the seat. The 2 armchairs have no stains or damage.. All 3 pieces are very sturdy and were obviously well cared for. The cushions are down-filled and very comfortable. Chair dimensions: 26 wide x 24.5 deep x 40:tall. Generous proportions for comfortable seating. See less
