this rare early period lamp by paavo tynell is model 1374/5, manufactured by taito oy in the 1930s. The five-arm design combines brass and painted metal, reflecting the sophisticated decorativeness of tynell's pre-war production.

the lamp has five graceful brass arms,the central element is a dark green painted central plate decorated with brass, forced floral patterns – a detail that is very typical of tynell's early metal art.
