paulin, one of the most important representatives of organic post-war design, created an elegant yet functional seating sculpture with this design, which is considered a classic of modern design history.

the shape of the little tulip is reminiscent of an open flower – softly curved, inviting, and harmoniously proportioned.

the seat and backrest flow seamlessly into one another, while the integrated armrests gently embrace the body. The upholstery is covered in a wine-red velour fabric, which further emphasizes the sensual, sculptural appeal. The seat shell is supported by a chrome-plated, central swivel base with a round bottom plate, which gives the design stability and an elegant, floating appearance.

condition: the chairs are in very vintage condition with age-related wear. The velour fabric shows slight pressure marks and wear. The fabric is quite thin in the lighter areas. The chrome-plated metal legs are shiny, with a few minor signs of wear. These chairs are used and would benefit from reupholstering.
