A hand-printed multiple produced for Olivetti as a prestige giveaway wall calendar for the Italian market, issued in a limited edition of approximately 1,000 copies. Examples from this edition are only very infrequently seen on the market.

The composition centres on the Lettera 32 typewriter and reflects Fletcher’s characteristic approach — combining bold colour, visual wit, and a refined sense of reduction. Printed in fluorescent inks, the work was intentionally designed to create strong optical effects, pushing the boundaries of conventional commercial print at the time.

This piece belongs to a broader context of Olivetti’s design programme, widely regarded as one of the most advanced corporate design cultures of the 20th century.

Provenance: formerly part of the art collection of the Swedish newspaper Sydsvenskan.

The poster is presented in a later gilt-toned aluminium frame with acrylic glazing. All measurements include the frame.
