A pair of vintage French style fauteuil chairs newly upholstered in Old World Weavers Platessa Silk Damask for Scalamandré. This exquisite fabric was purchased directly from Scalamandre's brands showroom. It is 100% silk made in France and is one of the finest fabrics available.
Our workshop specializes in an antique and vintage seating restoration; these chairs have been fully rebuilt with all new materials (new padding, and cushioning) in our workshop, resulting a like-new never used set of chairs.
Classic Louis XV-style chairs with typical silhouette and generous modern-size proportions. Painted wood frame. Silk has soft sea green or celadon color, it is a nice thick material with subtle sheen and rich texture.
This set would place well in a traditional, French country, Hollywood Regency, or transitional interiors as accent chairs, bedroom / dressing room seating, or living room armchairs.
