This writing desk was designed by architect Bohumil Lansman, a notable figure of post-war furniture design. The piece reflects a restrained modernist approach with emphasis on function and balanced proportions.
The desk features a wooden top supported by a light yet stable side structure. On the right side, a suspended drawer unit with three drawers in black finish creates a subtle contrast with the lighter wood body.
The desk remains in original condition with signs of use consistent with age. The construction is solid, drawers are fully functional, and surfaces are well preserved.
