Antique Folk Art Painting of a Bird in a Tree, Signed (Oil on Board)
This antique folk art painting depicts a naively rendered bird perched within a stylized tree, executed in oil on board. The bird with feathers in yellow, blue, and red, occupies a central position in the composition, its form contrasting against the simplicity of the bare tree branches. Blades of grass occupy the bottom of the painting.
The painting is housed in its original period wooden frame, finished in a deep brown tone. The work bears a signature at the lower right.
