Antique Japanese Woodblock Print of a Kabuki Actor by Utagawa Kunisada
Offering this Japanese woodblock print, signed by Utagawa Kunisada, also known as Toyokuni III, depicts a Kabuki actor.
Kunisada was a prominent ukiyo-e artist in the 19th century, known for his portraits of Kabuki actors.
Professionally matted and framed beneath glass, in a thin antique mahogany frame a long time ago, it does have a little staining to the mattina and slight blemishes to its frame. I apologize for the shadow reflection in the lower right hand corner
