A lovely watering can from the late Victorian or Edwardian era with a gorgeous natural patina. I love the the hints of verdigris throughout that share a story of flourishing gardens from the late 1800s, early 1900s. This unlacquered brass piece will only gain more character over time.
This watering can is marked 4PT on the underside indicating it holds 4 pints.
The thumb rest on the handle is missing, and there is a small fracture on the inner rim which is shown in the photos. It remains functional.
This piece would make a wonderful gift or potting bench accessory.
