This early 1900’s Ice Cream Parlor Set was made of hand-forged craftsmanship and industrial spec construction this was the gold … Read more This early 1900’s Ice Cream Parlor Set was made of hand-forged craftsmanship and industrial spec construction this was the gold standard for the “indestructible” wire furniture , designed to prevent warping and insure structural integrity over a century of use. These were found in early drugstore and soda fountain furniture. After many hours of searching I found some makers marks on the carriage bolts (N and K) or (K and H) some bolts I only see a K and others only the N and some a H and some nothing. The ones I located are on the back of both chair’s which appears to be holding the back rest . The more I researched I did it looks like it could be one of two companies, A.H. Andrew’s Co. or Royal Metal Manufacturing Co. both produced their iconic twisted sweetheart ice cream parlor with Japan finish sets primarily during the late 19th century (c. 1889-1900”s). See less
