Vintage tobacciana is now for much more than smoking, serving as decor statement pieces. This one strikes curiosity with a "what is it?" until you look more closely.

This orb is a heavy, solid, and sand cast, with a natural earthy patina and gently textured surface, approximately 3" diameter. It was manufactured by Almazan Spain, as indicated by the maker's stamp on the bottom. Almazan was a prominent during the mid-20th century, and particularly active in the 1960s and 1970s. The company is widely recognized for producing high-quality, heavy cast brass and bronze decorative objects, often characterized by the rich patina seen on this item. The orb is in excellent vintage condition, with the "Spanish gold" deep brass patina left intact.
