The round tabletop … Read more A classic pedestal side table from the 1950s, featuring the iconic, organic design language of mid-century modernism. The round tabletop rests on a central, elegantly curved base with a four-armed star base, lending the design a sculptural lightness. Both the tabletop and the base have been subsequently refinished in black lacquer. Originally, the table was entirely white, typical of designs from this period. The current dark finish gives the piece a modern, minimalist look and creates a striking contrast to the original design.

condition: good used condition with age-related wear. There are light scratches and scuffs on the surface, as well as minor wear on the base. The lacquer finish exhibits some slight irregularities.
