A large and very impressive antique Regency period cheval mirror. This was made in England, we would date it from around 1820-1840.
It is a great size and is of superb quality. The frame is beautifully turned, it stands on a splayed base with brass hairy paw casters. The mirror can be tilted to various angles and removed completely for ease of transport.
The actual mirror glass seems original and there is a little bit of spotting in places, which we have highlighted in the images. This only adds to the character.
We have had this recently re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age.
