The design reflects functionalist principles with elements of late art deco typical of interwar central european production.

the structure is formed from chrome-plated tubular steel, rising from a circular veneered wood base and extending into an arched arm. It supports a spherical opaline glass shade and incorporates a round side table. The piece remains in good original condition, with patina to the chrome and visible wear to the wooden elements.
