Curved adjustable desk by Seltz Ébénisterie, France, 1980s. Executed in solid French elm, a material that has become rare due to the impact of Dutch elm disease and is no longer commercially available at this quality.
The design is defined by its soft, curved writing surface and the distinctive ondulé, waved support, which adds a sculptural and visually dynamic aspect to the piece.
The desk can be pivoted as one of the wooden spheres can slide along the rail attached to the underside of the desk.
This desk is in very good condition and ready for daily use. The solid elm construction ensures durability and stability over time.
