This chaise longue was produced in the 1970s and is based on the iconic LC4 model originally designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. It represents a classic example of modernist functional design, combining a tubular steel frame with an ergonomically shaped reclining surface.
The piece features a chrome-plated tubular structure mounted on a black lacquered base, with a freely adjustable frame. The upholstery is made of genuine cowhide with a distinctive natural pattern, adding a strong visual character to the piece.
The chaise remains fully functional and stable, with well-preserved materials and only minor signs of use. It is an authentic period production inspired by one of the most influential designs of the 20th century.
