The fixture features a delicately modeled female nude carrying a small child (putti) on her shoulder, creating a harmonious scene that emphasizes classical proportions and fluid lines. The base clearly bears the signature "Sommer," probably referring to the German artist Ferdinand Sommer. Unfortunately, we do not have more precise proof that this is this particular artist.

The material is high-quality ceramic with an ivory finish, which highlights the subtle details of the modeling and provides the entire object with a noble appearance.
