This exquisite hand-carved jadeite figure depicts a spirited Horse in Motion, a classic symbol of success and rapid advancement. Measuring approximately 2" in height, the sculpture is masterfully rendered from translucent white with a touch of light green jadeite with a smooth, lustrous polish.
A charming and auspicious detail features a tiny monkey perched playfully atop the horse’s head, creating a visual pun for the Chinese idiom "Ma Shang Feng Hou," which translates to "may you be immediately promoted to a high rank."
