Here is a vintage Art Deco–style metal utility cabinet, likely dating to the 1930s–1940s, featuring classic rounded edges, chrome hardware, and a clean, functional form. It is very versatile and works beautifully as a bathroom cabinet, medical-style storage piece, or general utility cabinet.
The original metal body is finished in white, grounded by a contrasting black base and silver stripe, while the top features a gray and white laminate-style surface with a chrome banded edge—giving it that unmistakable vintage industrial kitchen or bath aesthetic. The proportions are especially nice, with a single top drawer and double-door cabinet below offering practical, enclosed storage. Inside, a previous owner added a wood liner and bottom base, along with rubber feet underneath. While not original, the update makes the piece more usable and protects the interior for everyday storage.

This piece shows noticeable age and wear consistent with use, including areas of rust and paint loss, particularly along the lower portion. One corner has a small hole from wear to the metal located at the back, not visible from the front (see 8th and 15th photo for close-up). The black and silver base band shows scuffs, finish loss, rust and age. The white painted surfaces have scattered marks and staining. The piece has been thoroughly cleaned, but some discoloration remains from age and use. The top is in especially nice condition with minimal wear and presents clean overall. The right door closes properly and stays shut, though it is missing the original magnetic catch. Overall, a solid and usable piece with honest vintage patina. less
