Vintage Home is pleased to present this stunning antique French Neoclassical style bed frame from the 1920s. The bed has its original Olive Green painted design with a center hardwood panel in the center of both the Headboard and Footboard. On the panel is painted an Urn with a flora botanical display. The headboard is arched across the top and as is the footboard. The footboard curves on the corners and wraps around the side of the bed. There are six hand-turned, painted legs with original casters and two side rails painted in the Olive Green color. Beautiful bed that will grace your home. The bedframe was imported from France in the 1920s through a furniture store in Iowa that imported French furniture. It was special ordered via a store in Nebraska and delivered as a wedding gift. It was curated from an Estate Sale of a granddaughter of the original owners.

There are some scuffs and scratches to the surface as would be expected with a 100 year old painted wood bed. The bed is very sturdy. You will need to add wood cross supports as those were not sold with the bed frame. Some nicks along edges are also present, but overall the paint is vibrant and original. less
