I don't recall an offering of a set of six original American New England Queen Anne chairs in quite a while. These have carved crests above fiddle splats, flanked by molded stiles. All is resting above a trapezoidal cattail rush seats on block and turned legs terminating in so-called Spanish feet or brush feet. At center rests a beautifully turned bobbin stretcher. These are often used with padded cushions. From a local collection.
Height 41 inches, width 18 inches, seat depth 17 inches. Seat heights16 3/4 inches to 18 inches. Seat heights vary, depending on wear to the feet . Call or email early to make this set the highlight of your dining area.
