A large & impressive cast bronze statue of a Victorian maiden wearing a hat adorned with a bow.
In very nice original condition with a pleasant patina that does have some typical age-appropriate wear with a slight color contrast
Artist signed "V. Bruyneel" in script beneath her shoulder
Victor Léopold Bruyneel was a Belgian artist (born 1859) known as an Art Nouveau sculptor active in France during the 19th and early 20th centuries. He created bronze busts depicting elegant young women.
His work is emblematic of the Belle Epoque period.
