Antique Salt Cellar in Seaweed Yellow Ware Pottery, Circa Mid-19th Century. Squat form with a wide foot. Constructed from yellow ware pottery with a band of black seaweed surface design on white. At the time these cellars were produced, salt was a valuable commodity and was presented tabletop with pride. Unsigned.
