Early production model 88 side table in birch by alvar aalto from the 1930s. Imported by finmar uk. Produced by huonekalu-ja rakennustyötehdas oy turku, finland. Originally bought by bristol architect ralph brentnall in the 1930s from prominent bristol-based furniture manufacturer and retailer, pe gane. Both finmar and pe gane labels are still present. Some historic repairs visible to the top. Provenance; family collection. This piece has an attribution mark,
