Formed as a low circular vessel with a subtle indentation, the piece balances sculptural presence with functional use. The bowl is executed using a combination of Murano glass techniques. A central pool of deep green glass is encased within layers of mint green and clear uranium glass, creating a strong sense of depth through the sommerso method. Suspended throughout the outer layers are controlled bullicante bubbles, evenly dispersed and adding a distinctive texture and optical complexity. The outer rim carries a turquoise tone, framing the composition and enhancing the tonal contrast between layers. The form is substantial, with thick glass walls that give the piece weight and stability. The slight asymmetry introduced by the indentation adds a subtle organic quality, typical of mid-century Murano design, while maintaining a refined overall profile. Condition is very good.
