Vintage Original Oil on Board Painting Titled "Philadelphia Winter" & Signed C. Perry. An impressionist en plein air painting depicting a wonderful Philadelphia winter's day.
While not dated, we know it was donated to the Traveler's Hotel by Edith P. Perry in 1971 ~ likely wife, but maybe daughter. Thre is some very faint writing on the back that seems to start by saying "Mom gave this to . . . 1984". There is more written but I can't make it out - seems to reference the hotel, but to faint for me to determine what it actually says.
Measures 18" x 22" ~ it appears the artist cut the board down from 24" to 22".
