Impressionist landscape of a river at the edge of the woods by Yuri Gusev (Eastern European, b. 1928). There is a kneeling figure between the trees in the foreground. Presented in a pink-hued tan frame.

Yuri Gusev was born in 1928. In 1953, he graduated Surikov Art Institute, Mochalsky’s workshop. He has participated in several exhibitions since 1949, including: Exhibitions of Young Artists (1953-1958); “40th Anniversary of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League” (1958); “The Capital of Our Motherland” (1964); “Artists for the 50th Anniversary of the October Revolution”, (1967) and other exhibitions.
