This one measures 30 x 60 x 30h. Knee room, or apron clearance is 25 in from the floor to the straight section of each side, and the apron clearance at the ends dips to its lowest at 24.5 in at the centers. The table is made of solid alder, our native northwest wood which is local to the area, and is considered a very sustainable choice for furniture building. Alder is not as hard as walnut, cherry or oak, but is still hard enough to be classified as a "hardwood", and durable enough to serve as a daily-use table with an antique appearance. When finished properly, alder looks very similar to the aged European fruitwoods that were used on real antiques. These have a very durable living finish, which we developed. This finish looks better and better over time as it ages and develops small marks or dings from daily use. Perfect for families with small children, these dings, marks, and stains that you add to what's already present will simply blend into the existing distressing. The deeply penetrating finish resists stains and will not develop rings with use. Also, these tables, when placed in antique stores in our area, are frequently mistaken for real antiques. See less
